Fall Art Star Craft Bazaar

This year has been the year of shows, I've never done this many and it was a choice I made to get out more in the public and introduce my jewelry to people who normally wouldn't see it online or at my stockists.

And the hard working individuals that put these shows together are super awesome to work with.  Thus I'm happy to announce I was accepted to be a vendor at my second Art Star show in Philadelphia!  I had such a great time in May participating int the spring show that I definitely decided I had to do another one, especially for the holiday season.

The event will be held at the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum

$3 Door Fee to enter both the bazaar + the museum
(please note the museum normally charges a $12 admission fee,  but for our bazaar you will be able to get in for the discounted rate of $3. This includes admission to the bazaar AND the museum!)
Street Parking (free) or $5 to park all day in the Museum’s Parking Lot
Rain, Snow or Shine!

Ritual, Ritual - New Stockist

I'd like to add to the list of the many reasons why I love doing shows, the next item on the list is that I get to meet boutique owners that eventually add my jewelry to their list of inventory.  Such as when I met Angela Monaco, co-owner of all around rad boutique Ritural, Ritual in downtown Philadelphia.

I've had RR on my radar for awhile now and I always wanted them to carry Eilisain.  Prior to traveling to Philly for the Art Star Craft Show I emailed Angela to see if we could meet as she would have a table at the show as well.  We eventually met and she told me how much she loved Eilisain and that it would be a perfect fit at RR.

Angela is not only part of the team at RR but also creates pretty awesome jewelry herself, Concrete Polish.  She uses beautiful stones and inventive settings for them.

Upcoming shows and events

Spring is my favorite season, I love it for many reasons - the birds are chirping more, flowers are beginning to bloom, the weather is warmer and well, my birthday is also right before spring!

And the major part of Spring is all the wonderful outdoor events! I've been applying to shows and I finally got into one, I'll be a vendor at the Art Star Craft Bazaar in Philaphelphia on May 9th-10th.

And I'll be releasing the Brigid Collection on the first day of Spring, Friday March 20th.  This is the first 'bridal' collection I've done and it is a small yet well edited collection of rings and one of a kind pieces for the unique bride. 

I made pieces that were simple and affordable.  I put the term 'bridal' in quotes because as much as I'm putting a name on these pieces, really they don't have to be for a bride just as much as my other collections have been used as ceremonial pieces for weddings. 

And I decided to name this the Brigid Collection after the Celtic Goddess Brigid; she has been one of my patron deities and a triple goddess.  She represents the fire before the summer months, she is the Goddess of Imbolc (one of the pagan sabbaths).  There are many stories and tales of Brigid, she is the the bards muse, the patron of Smiths and herbal healing.
