I just received word that I've been accepted to participate in Raleigh's Artsplosure 2015!
I've never done a show in Raleigh and I'm really looking forward to it, despite having just got back into town from Art Star in Philadelphia which was a blast! Whew, it is definitely show season.
If you're in the Raleigh area please visit my booth....which I don't know which booth I'll be at but I'm sure you can find me!

Indie Craft Experience (ICE) Atlanta
Summer show season is getting closer and I'm pretty excited about the new cities I'll be traveling to, such as Philadelphia (Art Star Show) and Atlanta. I got news Sunday night that I was accepted, along with the Lucky Owl Shop to the Indie Craft Experience (ICE) in Atlanta on June 6-7th!
I haven't been to Atlanta in over 7 years, last time I went was for the True Colors tour for the Human Rights Campaign. And I didn't really get to experience much of Atlanta because I was there for work - and of course going again for work but still I'll be a bit more flexible with my schedule so I can squeeze in some sight seeing. I'm also looking forward to sharing a booth with fellow maker Amanda Adkins, of the Lucky Owl Shop. It'll be less stressful and financially softer to share the experience of working within the same booth with Amanda. Plus our work compliments each other so well!
If you're in the area that time, I hope to see you there! And thank you for reading.

Recap of closing exhibition for the Asteria Collection
The closing exhibition for the Asteria Collection was a great hit, we had so many friends come out for First Friday in Uptown Greenville. I'm so grateful for the community support in Greenville. I've told several friends and colleagues how surprised I've been by how much people in Greenville do support the arts, but the key word is community and rallying individuals to understand that buying local feeds the local economy.
Here are some shots of the display and my favorite images from Amber of our photoshoot.

RAW Awakening selected artist
Well here it is, I'm doing my first big show/sale of the year. I'm really excited to be a part of the RAW events, I'd heard about them before through several other jeweler friends.
I'm also very excited it's going to be part of a bigger event, as in, so many other talented artists will be at this event as well. With that said, I need to sell tickets!
If you live in or around the Charlotte, NC area, I would love to see you at the event, you can purchase tickets here. The tickets are only $15, which I think is a great deal for a show. And see my profile here.
And for anyone that purchases a ticket to the event, will be entered into a raffle to WIN a Hunted bronze owl talon charm & chain.
If you can't attend the event, I completely understand but you can still support it! If I don't sell all 20 tickets, they come out of my pockets...which are quite small. Thank you in advance and thank you for your constant support!

Wild Hand Workspace Presents SWANK Jewelry Pop Up shop
Really psyched to have been invited to participate in this 'swanky' jewelry shop. In my DC, Panda Head, aka Morgan Hungerford West, crafter/lifestyle/photographer and all around creative extraordonaire is part of the team behind this event.
If you are in DC, stop by and soak in (and buy) gorgeous handmade jewelry. Wild Hand studio is located at Monroe Street Market in the Brookland/Edgewood neighborhood of DC.
The event runs from December 12-22.

Bling 'n Things SALE
That's right, the ECU Metals Guild will be having a pre-holiday sale in two weeks, the studio is already buzzing with busy hands and flex shafts makin' jewelry purdy!
I'm really proud of the sale committee, Ellen Hinrichs, Samantha Clarke and Kate Lambeth for getting all the details taken care of - like a bangin' poster (designed by Erin Meekins) AND getting the library to loan us IPADS to process credit cards!!!
So yes, back to the details, the sale will be Wednesday & Thursday in the Wright Plaza from 9-2pm. Hope to see you there!
