Giveaway: Ancient bronze crow claw

I finally decided to go black with the sterling silver chain and I think it really works with the golden color of the ancient bronze.  Now on sale in my Eilisain Etsy shop!

Stay tuned in the next several days as I'm going to do a give away in honor of the beginning of summer!

A gift

A gift for a very good and dear friend I'll be visiting this weekend in D.C., she is one of my biggest cheerleaders, so she must be outfitted with some new bling.

I purchased the stone at the ECU Geology fraternity sale, I know, a geology fraternity? weird but I go crazy buying all sorts of awesome gems and geodes.

Hope you have a great weekend!

The Hunted - Buried brooch

Sterling silver claws from my talon mold.
Fossilized stone embedded in resin, with my secret ingredient.

Another addition to my Hunted series, though this brooch is not for sale yet. I love how you can see through the back. Resin and acrylic are fun to play with!

The Hunted - New Earrings in my Etsy shop

I've been grinding away in the studio lately - early morning hours are when I'm most productive and it's been wonderful - to creatively expand and float on with new materials....like resin!

Resin making has been on my mind since last semester, when I created two brooches, one using resin. This time I used a special ingredient in addition to using my new molds - talons!!!

I'm loving the aggressive and edgy look of talons. I've got more work coming but for now you can purchase these lovelies on my Eilisain Etsy site.

White resin, black onyx, manganese bronze
and brass earrings.

White HOT!

Sweetness to my ears

Brand-spankin' new earrings and
displayed on a chased copper bowl I made earlier this year.

Finished this sweet pair of earrings today, though I had a little battle with those prongs, I won! Petrified wood and oxidized sterling silver make a lovely combination.

Now on sale in my etsy shop - check'em out!

Epona ring

Just added a new item to my Etsy shop.

Epona ring is made from cast deer antler and then oxidized to bring out the tree bark texture of the antler.

Check it out along with other new items I've added over the past several weeks.

Jewelry of the Day: Drown

I just found Drown jewelry via Worn online magazine, via Fashion Hayley (it's amazing what you find once you stumble on a blog to another blog).

Drown jewelry is a side project of Drink Me, Alice, by Australian jewelry designer Alicia. I especially love her Nebula collection made of acrylic, resin, onyx and oxidized metal. I myself have been quite inspired by nebula photographs and beautiful starry photos via National Geographic.

Enjoy!
